It’s no secret that Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller is tough on her young dancers. But now one of them is hitting back — with a lawsuit! And the claims she’s making about her teacher are horrendous.
Paige Hyland, 13, claims she now suffers from panic attacks and extreme anxiety because of the abuse she suffered from the dance teacher turned reality star. And the damages aren’t just emotional — as the legal docs claim Abby Lee was physically abusive to the dancers, by pinching them until they bled and making them work 60 hours a week.
She goes on to say Abby routinely made the girls cry, mocking them for being emotionally weak, calling them names and insulting their looks — for added drama on set.
The tween’s lawyer, Michael Shapiro, calls the situation “the most repugnant cast I’ve been involved in.”
Abby’s history with her mom, Kelly, is well documented. In June, she filed a lawsuit against the instructor for $5 million — saying the abuse her daughter experienced landed Paige in therapy.
