The leading stars of the much-anticipated film adaptation of '50 Shades of Grey' have been named.

Dakota Johnson has been tapped for the much-coveted lead role of Anastasia Steele in the film adaptation of '50 Shades of Grey.'

British actor and 'Sons of Anarchy' star Charlie Hunnam has been chosen to play Christian Grey.

Johnson, 23, is the daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson and has appeared in such films as '21 Jump Street' and 'The Social Network'.

The movie is set to be released next August.
