In a revealing interview with Good Morning America, Sex and the City star Cynthia Nixon disclosed her recent battle with breast cancer, which she was diagnosed with in 2006. "I didn't want to make it public while I was going through it," she said. "I didn't want paparazzi at the hospital and things like that." The 42-year-old actress is fully recovered, after having a small lump in her right breast removed and receiving radiation treatment. "I felt scared," admits Cynthia. "Even though I felt scared... I was very cognizant of if it's going to happen, this is the best way for it to happen - that it's found so early and we can just get right on it." The breast cancer survivor will be an ambassador for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure organization for the next year.
