It was revealed on Tuesday that NBC ordered a pilot for a Cruel Intentions TV show — which will focus on “Annette Hargrove (Reese Witherspoon) and Sebastian Valmont (Ryan Phillippe)’s son, Bash Casey and his aunt Kathryn Merteuil (Sarah Michelle Gellar)’s quest to control Bash's soul and Valmont International,” according to E! The outlet first reported news of the TV show back in October.
Writer and director Roger Kumble will be joining Cruel Intentions: The Musical creators Jordan Ross and Lindsey Rosin as the masterminds behind the series.
It is unclear whether or not any of the original cast mates will revive their roles.
