A tape has been released of a concerning 911 call placed by the wife of Scott Stapp — in which she claims the troubled Creed frontman allegedly threatened to kill President Barack Obama and his family.
The 41-year-old’s estranged wife, Jaclyn Stapp, and her sister reportedly filed legal documents on Wednesday, Dec. 10, in an attempt to persuade a judge that Scott needs to be put under psychiatric hold after he allegedly claimed to be a CIA agent on a mission to kill the President.

In the tape, she alleges her husband printed out more than 400 pages of CIA documents, which he supposedly found online, before putting them in a bag and taking off on a bike.
Jaclyn can be heard pleading with the dispatchers, “I love him, and I just want to see him get better. But I just need law enforcement’s help. That’s the only way he’s gonna stop — when he hits his rock bottom.”
TMZ says he was not committed following the incident, as policed determined he “did not show enough signs of mental instability to warrant a psych hold.”

Scott was placed on a temporary psych hold last month after allegedly expressing fears that ISIS was going to attack his child. When filing for divorce, Jaclyn accused the rocker of using drugs — but he disputed the accusation with a Facebook video, in which he claims to be clean and sober.
His son, Jagger, took to Twitter to urge his father to get help.
The 16-year-old tweeted, “To all [those] confused, my father once again chose drugs over his family. He needs help, but refuses to get it. He’s been on a 9-week binge.”
