It’s official: There’s no bad blood between Kanye West and Taylor Swift!
It’s been more than half a decade since the 37-year-old rapper infamously didn’t let the 25-year-old finish her speech when she was awarded Best Female Video at the 2009 Video Music Awards, and now she’s ready to forgive and forget as they are going to be making music together!
“She wants to get in the studio and we’re definitely going to go in,” the ‘Yeezus’ rapper told Ryan Seacrest earlier today, Feb. 11. “Any artist with an amazing point of view, perspective, fan base — I’m down to get in the studio and work.”

Even though the duo were all smiles at the Grammys on Sunday, Feb. 8, fans were reminded of the VMA incident because Kanye, well, pulled a Kanye and jumped on-stage when Beck won Album of the Year.
Though he didn’t actually say anything, he later slammed Beck — and the Grammys — saying the singer needed to “respect the artistry.”

Kim Kardashian’s husband has since explained “the voices in his head” encouraged him to do it.
“You know, I felt like just the whole Grammys, right when that happened, everybody was looking at me and then people started screaming, ‘Kanye! Kanye! Go do it!’ Okay, that didn’t really happen, these were voices in my head,” he explained.
“So the voices in my head told me go and then I just walked up like halfway up the stage.”

Um, we’re not sure if he’s kidding or not (after all, he does reference the voices in his head in his new single, ‘Only One’) but we’re going to say he is since he later added he was just trying to have fun.
Plus, he managed to drop the most epic, passive-aggressive punch line of all-time when explaining his decision.
“I didn’t want to take away from [Beck’s] screen time,” he said. “So I just walked back down because you know, it was kind of a joke — like the Grammys themselves.”
Ba dum tss.
