The same Keith Urban concert that landed 22 people in the hospital for mostly alcohol-related illnesses was the scene of a crime, as police say a teenage girl was raped in the crowd.
The purported attack took place in front of several witnesses on the lawn of the Xfinity Center, in Mansfield, Mass., on Saturday night.
According to police, a woman pushed the alleged attacker off the teen and fled the scene. But 18-year-old Sean Murphy was arrested and charged with rape “a short time later.”

According to a statement released by the Mansfield Police, concertgoers who recorded the attackers with their cell phones assisted officers in the investigation.
The footage is being reviewed for evidence.
Murphy entered a not guilty plea in court and was released on $10,000 bond, CNN reports.
His lawyer said the sexual act was “consensual,” though the police report states the accused attacker was overheard saying he “messed up” while on the phone with his parents.
When asked about the attack by CNN, a rep for the country artist deflected to the authorities, though he had previously described his July 26 tour stop as “nutso.”

“Up on the lawn tonight, that was nutso. It was so cool,” Keith gushed in a YouTube video—that has since been removed—about the concert where an alleged rape took place and more than 50 people were taken into protective custody due to alcohol.
