Before the famous octuplets' birth, Nadya Suleman already had the authorities' attention. According to tmz.com, the mom of 14 attracted the police with a slew of mysterious incidents, including a 911 call on October 27, 2008 to report a missing child, and a January 9, 2008 panic when one of the children locked him or herself into a room. Additionally, the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services received a complaint from a neighbor who was concerned for the well-being of Nadya's six children on July 7, 2008. The DCFS took a Suspected Child Abuse Report, though the allegation was deemed "unfounded."
Nadya Suleman took the world by storm when the unemployed California mother of six gave birth to two more boys and six more girls last January 26 after undergoing in-vitro fertilization procedures. "All I wanted was children. I wanted to be a mom. That's all I ever wanted in my life," Nadya has said.
