Authorities were forced to intervene after Saturday Night Live alum Chris Kattan was acting strangely at Phoenix’s Sky Harbor Airport on Sunday, May 3.
According to 'TMZ,' cops say they were called to the Southwest terminal after they were told a passenger was prohibited from boarding his flight because he was “mumbling” and “nervously walking around the gate.”

Police say the 44-year-old confessed he had taken the sleeping pill Ambien prior, and it was still in his system.
The ‘Night at the Roxbury’ actor admitted to ‘TMZ’ that he had been up “very late” the night before and missed his connecting flight in Phoenix on his way back to LA. He says he was looking for somewhere to nap when cops arrived on the scene.

This isn’t Chris’ first run-in with the law due to Ambien. Last year, he was charged with a DUI after he got in an accident while under the influence of the prescription sleep aid.
