Demi Lovato is giving judging another go!The "Heart Attack" singer has just announced she'll be returning to The X Factor for the hit show’s third season.
“I am so excited to return as a judge and mentor on The X Factor,” the 20-year-old said. “Last season was an unbelievable experience and I really enjoyed developing personal relationships with the contestants and the panel.”

There’s definitely one person who’s thrilled about the star’s return. The show’s executive producer and judge, Simon Cowell, is ready for more Demi!“I couldn’t be happier that Demi wants to come back this year. She’s a superstar in her own right and was a fantastic mentor last year…even though she can be really, really annoying,” Simon jokingly quipped. “I truly enjoyed working with her and so did the artists.”

But before the second season ended in Dec. 2012, the judges starting dropping like flies.L.A. Reid announced on Dec. 14 that he would not be returning to the show after two seasons of judging. Also, after rumors starting circulating of Britney’s X Factor fate, the pop princess followed L.A.’s lead in Jan. 2013."I've made the very difficult decision not to return for another season," the singer told In Touch in an official statement. "I had an incredible time doing the show and I love the other judges and I am so proud of my teens, but it's time for me to get back in the studio.”Auditions for season three began on March 6 in Los Angeles, but fans will have to wait to see who will fill those two empty judges seats!Who would you love to see on The X Factor judging panel?
