Chris Brown: I'll
Never Abuse Rihanna
He's said it before and he'll say it again... Chris Brown swears he will never abuse Rihanna again.
“I’ve been humbled by the whole experience, from me losing everything to me having to regain public opinion, or whatever it is,” he said to Matt Lauer on The Today Show about dealing with his public image since assaulting Rihanna in 2009. “But most importantly, you know, knowing that what I did was totally wrong, and having to kind of deal with myself and forgive myself in the same breath, and being able to apologize to Rihanna, and being able to be that man that can be a man, you know?”
After weekend reports claimed the couple split once again, Chris assured fans that the pair are definitely “on,” claiming that the information reported was 100% false.

“We’re fine,” Chris said when asked about the status of his relationship with Rihanna. When asked if they were still together “as a couple,” Chris answered, “Yeah, everything is fine.”
While skeptics may not understand or agree with the reasoning behind their reconciliation, Breezy is confident he’s learned from his mistakes and is maturing.
“It was me proving myself once again, and also just me being a man and knowing that what I did was wrong and never doing it again. So as far as me and her are concerned, she knows my heart and I know her heart, so I’m not really focused on the negative. I did my 52 weeks of counseling and learned that it was absolutely wrong.”

But recent physical altercations with Drake and Frank Ocean have fans wondering if he’s all talk or if he’s actually a changed man.
“I think everybody’s entitled to their opinions,” Chris said of his haters. “For me, it was just a learning process. I have to take it one day at a time. I can’t make everybody like me.”
