Chris Brown is currently in a jail in downtown Los Angeles after being arrested Friday afternoon.
After allegedly violating a judge’s order, the Malibu rehab facility where the singer has been staying at for nearly four months notified the police.
According to TMZ, hours before the arrest, Brown was thrown out of the facility that morning for violating “internal rules”. Other sources say they do not know exactly how Brown violated the terms of his probation associated with the 2009 assault against Rihanna case .
Even though the 24-year-old singer now has even more to worry about, a statement released by the sheriff’s department noted he was “cooperative” when deputies arrested him.
After a court hearing on Feb. 28, a Los Angeles judge ordered Brown to stay at the facility an additional two months—on top of the 90 days—for more anger management therapy.
Brown's lawyer, Mark Geragos, will appear in court Monday. Until then, Brown is held in jail without bail.
The Washington D.C. trial is set for April 17, in which Chris has to attest to punching a man in the nation's capital back in October. If Chris is found guilty, he could potentially end up in prison for breaking the law while on probation in the Rihanna case.
