After the L.A. District Attorney's office announced today that Chris Brown would be charged with two felonies for allegedly beating girlfriend Rihanna, the singer arrived in Los Angeles Superior Court at 3:30 p.m. PST to be arraigned — and exited shortly after. Chris did not enter a plea to the two felony charges, and the commissioner granted a request to move the arraignment to April 6.
"He is wearing a gray suit and looks nervous," an eyewitness tells In Touch. Although the couple reconciled in Miami last week, the D.A. is still pressing charges. If convicted, Chris, 19, could get probation or face up to a maximum of four years and eight months in a state prison.
On February 8, Chris and his longtime girlfriend and singer, Rihanna, 21, became embroiled in a heated fight where police documents obtained by LA station FOX 11 state Chris threatened to kill her and punched her repeatedly over a text message she found from another woman.
