It has NOT been a good week for Paula Deen.
After the celebrity chef admitted in a deposition that she’s used racial slurs (like the N-word) around employees, she has been fired from The Food Network.
The news comes on the heels of a video apology, where the Southern chef says, "I wanna apologize to everybody, uh, for the wrong that I've done. Uh, I want to learn and grow from this inappropriate hurtful language is totally, totally unacceptable."

Earlier today, the network released a statement that they will not be renewing Paula’s contract when it expires at the end of the month.
Paula started on the network with her show “Paula’s Home Cooking” in 2002 and added “Paula’s Best Dishes,” to the lineup in 2008. On top of her TV slots, Paula has several cookbooks and endorsements that have made her a household name.
It sounds the only thing Paula has been cookin' up now is controversy.
