Rumors Are Swirling That Chelsea Houska Is Leaving ‘Teen Mom 2’ After Slamming MTV’s Editing — Again

Worlds were rocked when it was announced that Briana DeJesus would join the cast of Teen Mom 2 for the upcoming season — mainly because fans thought that meant either Chelsea Houska, Jenelle Evans, Kailyn Lowry, or Leah Messer would exit the MTV franchise. It was widely rumored that Chelsea would be the one calling it quits since she has opted to live more privately since marrying Cole DeBoer in October and welcoming their son, Watson, back in January, and now the reality star is slamming the franchise, fueling speculation even more.

Last week, the reality star mama took to Twitter to go on a tirade about the network’s poor editing, saying the way they told her storyline was “horse sh-t.” She wrote, “You know. I’ve tried my hardest to not say my feelings on this season but after watching tonight’s episode and the numerous times they’ve turned sweet great moments into sh-t. I can’t not say anything. They took this Aubree thing and f–king stretched it as far as they possibly could.”

Although Chels admitted that she agreed to talk about having baby fever so soon after giving birth to Watson to have some sort of storyline, she wrote, “The scene I’m talking about they clipped and cut so damn much. And what was actually a great a– time, they cut down to show me snap at Aubs.”

Yet this isn’t the first time the 26-year-old has voiced her opinion on the franchise’s editing. Back in March, she was slammed on social media for being short with her mother but feeling that her dad, Randy Houska, could do no wrong. She fired back, “They left out the [conversation before] this where she kept talking about [Aubree’s] dad in front of her,” she explained. And Papa Randilicious — as her dad is lovingly called — came to her defense in June, slamming rumors that she was quitting. “No,” he simply replied when a fan asked about the touchy subject — well that settles that!

Plus, earlier this year, a source revealed to Radar Online that Chelsea’s producer can take some of the credit for the beloved star’s return for the current season. “Chelsea has a great producer now, and has been able to avoid most of the chaos that MTV likes to push,” a source told the outlet. Don’t go, Chelsea — we can’t get enough of baby Watson!
