New year, new name! Chelsea Houska‘s daughter, Aubree, has reportedly gotten her wish — her last name is officially Lind-DeBoer. On a recent episode of Teen Mom 2, the eight-year-old expressed her desire to have the same moniker as little brother Watson, 1.

Back in October, Chelsea opened up about how she’s working to make it happen. “I’m meeting a lawyer tomorrow to ask what the steps would be to hyphenate Aubree’s last name,” Chelsea divulged to her pal Chelsey on TM2. “She thinks it’s a great idea. If you ask her, she wants Watson to know that’s his sister.”

Although Adam Lind — Aubree’s father — is no longer part of the MTV series, Chelsea later expressed concern that it might be a challenge working with her ex to make this legal name change. “My lawyer is going to get a hold of his attorney to see if he will agree to it,” Chelsea told her friend, Britnee. “But she doesn’t expect to hear back from him because I think his attorney has a hard time getting a hold of him.”

In April 2017, Adam failed a court-mandated drug test after he tested positive for meth and amphetamines. According to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, the failed drug test meant that he was stripped of visitation with daughter Paislee, whose mom is his ex Taylor Halbur. However, he still had supervised visits with Aubree — as long as his parents were present.

TM2‘s signature bad boy has quite a colorful rap sheet; according to the recent report, he pleaded guilty to a charge of exhibition driving last year. He also previously had warrants out for his arrest for failing to pay child support, and was previously jailed after an argument with an ex turned violent. Prior to that, he managed to earn three DUIs and had eight cases of driving without a license or with a suspended license.

Drama aside, we’re so happy for Aubs! She’s the sweetest big sister.
