A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Swamp People star, Chase Landry. According to TMZ, he's a wanted man after missing his trial for opening fire on a boat in Bayou Chene, LA.

Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office told the publication last year that Chase was arrested for illegal discharge of a weapon. His reason? The boat refused to slow down, and Chase feared it would hit and sink his boat while out alligator hunting. Cops said the victim's shrimp boat began leaking gasoline from what appeared to be a gunshot hole. Although Chase fled the scene, police ultimately tracked him down driving down a highway.

Swamp People is a reality show that follows the proud descendants of French Canadian refugees who settled in the swamp region of Louisiana hundreds of years ago. Cameras follow members of the group as they struggle to preserve their way of life during the most important time of the year for them — alligator-hunting season.

The "About" section of the show's website states, "As a new alligator hunting season gets underway, hunters face a more crippling problem than ever before: a surplus of farm-raised gators has flooded the buyers market, driving prices to their lowest level in a decade. Inventories are full, and buyers are threatening to shut down early this season. For the hunters who live off the money from gator season, it’s a matter of keeping their families fed. They must race to get tags filled quickly before buyers close their doors." Hmm… maybe Chase forgot he had a court date because he was too busy hunting?
