A heartbreaking week for Céline Dion.
The singer's brother, Daniel Dion, has passed away from cancer at the age of 59, just two days after her husband, René Angélil also lost his long battle with cancer.
Dion's sister, Claudette, confirmed the sad news to Le Journal de Montréal, telling the newspaper that 59-year-old Daniel passed away at 5 a.m. on Saturday morning, surrounded by his mother and the rest of his family in Montréal.

Daniel, who is one of Dion's 13 siblings, had been fighting brain, tongue, and throat cancer, and reports earlier this week revealed that he had mere hours left to live.
Daniel's passing comes just two days after Angélil's. Dion's husband, who died at the age of 73, had also been fighting throat cancer for many years.
Our hearts go out to the family during this heartbreaking time.
