‘Teen Mom OG’ Star Tyler Baltierra Says He and Catelynn Lowell “Are Not the Best Example” of Open Adoption

In an upcoming episode for the MTV series, we’ll see Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra get denied a visit with their daughter, Carly — who was put up for adoption when she was born.

But the troubled mother’s husband says Carly’s adoptive parents are making the right decision.

One fan wrote on Twitter that the married couple is NOT the best example of a successful open adoption, to which Tyler replied, “We definitely are not the best example.”

“They will always be justified because they are her parents and we are not,” Tyler explained. “We do have an open adoption. They are just making decisions that they think are the best for Carly. Which is exactly what they should do.”

It’s no secret Catelynn is having a tough year between her rehab stint and pot smoking habits, which stem from her personal struggles with anxiety and depression.
