Carrie Underwood
Debuts New Opener for
‘Sunday Night

The 30-year-old singer took over singing ‘Waiting All Day for Sunday Night’ after Faith Hill performed the iconic tune for seven seasons.

Of course, Carrie had to work hard to get this role—who could forget the videos NBC released featuring Today’s Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker and Natalie Morales, Community’s Yvette Nicole Brown and Ken Jeong, Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush and more!

In May, when Carrie was announced as the Sunday Night pick, she told the Associated Press that it was something she always wanted to do.

"To watch Faith do it week after week, to see that hype for the game, it's something that's so cool,” she said.
