As In Touch exclusively revealed on Nov. 16, Caroline Manzo will definitely be returning to The Real Housewives of New Jersey next season— and she won’t be taking any you-know-what from Teresa Giudice or Danielle Staub.
In Touch recently caught up with Caroline at the UNICEF Snowflake Ball, where she told us about her plan to start fresh after last season’s “dead end” drama.
“I at least know how I feel and the past is where I want it to be. It’s in the past,” Caroline says of the eventful finale. “I feel good about [this season] and I’m going in with a very positive attitude and you know, Caroline is back!”
But so is supervillain Danielle!
NEWS: Danielle Staub Returns to Housewives
In Touch exclusively revealed the news of Danielle’s return to RHONJ, but Caroline insists she’s not shaken by the troublemaker’s comeback.
“Does not even faze me,” Caroline says of Danielle’s return. “If she’s talking, I don’t know about it. I only know what I read from you guys and I’m like, ‘Ooh, interesting.’”
And as for Teresa, Caroline insists the two are civil to each other, but remain far from reconciliation.

“I don’t know if we could go back to where it was, but I’d certainly like to be able to get into, ‘How’s the kids? How’s everything?’ Civil,” Caroline admits. “We can be civil, certainly. But if it will go back to where it was, that’s doubtful.”
Instead of immersing herself in the drama, the 51-year-old Housewife tells In Touch why she stays away from cattiness.
“You know what it is? You’re gonna survive it and then when you look at yourself and say, ‘God, I acted so foolishly.’ Over what? It’s not worth it,” Caroline says. “And the same thing about Danielle, it’s not going to affect my life.”

So, who does Caroline think is worse: Danielle or Teresa?
“It’s a matter of perception,” she admits. “Everybody has their opinion of [Teresa]. She has a tremendous fan base and to some, I became the new Danielle.”
