Nick Cannon should feel relieved right about now — as it's been confirmed that his estranged wife, Mariah Carey, has not moved on from their relationship with director Brett Ratner, despite rumors that she had.
The singer's been spending a lot of time with Brett since her split — but their relationship is strictly professional, as they're working together on the 45-year-old's upcoming music video.

"It makes me laugh actually," the 46-year-old director told 'E! News,' adding that he's known the pop star for decades. "It cracks me up. We're great friends. She's awesome and she's amazing."

At least that's good news for the 'America's Got Talent Host,' who seems to be holding out for a reconciliation with his former main squeeze since filing for divorce in January.
"To me one thing I know, that will always be the love of my life, always be my family and that’s never going to change," Nick said on 'The Meredith Vieira Show.' "I'm a hopeless romantic, too."
