Miley Cyrus is totally a positive influence on young stars.
We know… we never thought we’d hear those words either!
The 21-year-old appeared on The Tonight Show on Jan. 30, and spoke to Jay Leno about her troubled pal Justin Bieber… and gave surprisingly good advice.

“You’ve got a lot of money,” she told the talk show host. “Pay people to make sure you don’t get in trouble, and party at your house. Buy a house, and add a club to it.”
Even though it sort of sounds like Miley is encouraging Justin’s party-boy behavior, that’s actually pretty good advice considering he does seem to get in trouble when he’s out partying.
In the early hours of the night on Jan. 23, the troubled 19-year-old was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, resisting arrest and driving with an expired license. Then, on Jan. 29, he was arrested and charged with assault after turning himself in to the Toronto authorities.

The charges were related to an incident on Dec. 30 in which Justin and five friends were picked up by a limousine driver, who was allegedly hit in the back of the head repeatedly by one of the passengers while driving from a nightclub to a hotel.
And if you think about it… neither of those incidents would have happened if Justin had just stayed home and partied!

As Miley pointed out, she may be scandalous, but she has yet to get in any serious trouble!
“My fans put all these people’s mug shots up, and they were like, ‘I don’t see a Miley mug shot yet!’ I get the most flak of anybody, but I’m not doing anything illegal,” she explained. “I’m doing a lot sh*t… [but] everything I do is legal in California!”
This isn’t the first time Miley has offered words of wisdom to Justin. In September of 2013, she told Rolling Stone that she “mentors” the star—who is only a few years younger than her—and expressed her concern that he would “f*ck up” his talent “to where people think he’s Vanilla Ice.”
Prior to that, in July 2013, she told The Sun that she encouraged the Biebz to take a break from Hollywood.

“I told Justin to take a bit of a time out and people aren’t so obsessed with you and nitpick,” Miley said. “He’s still stupid though, but everyone does dumb stuff when they are messed up, and he’s done dumb stuff… but because it’s Justin Bieber, then it’s really bad."
And to think that if Justin took that advice, he may not actually be in this situation!
