Everyone wants to come out the winner in a school reunion, but surely no one would want it to happen quite like this.
Arthur Booth, a 49-year-old suspected burglar, was facing a bond hearing in Miami when the presiding judge, Mindy Glazer, asked him a question.
“Did you go to Nautilus middle school?”

Arthur, realizing that he was standing before his former school friend first exclaimed, "Oh my goodness!" with a smile, but that smile quickly faded when he remembered his current situation.
"Oh my goodness," he exclaimed again, this time with a sob.
“I’m sorry to see you there. I always wondered what happened to you, sir,” said Mindy.
As Arthur continued to repeat himself, sobbing and holding his head in his hands, Mindy gestured to him and remarked, "This was the nicest kid in middle school. He was the best kid in middle school. I used to play football with him."
“Mr. Booth, I hope you’re able to change your ways. Good luck to you.” She added, “What’s sad is how old we’ve become.”
As Arthur continued to weep, Mindy told him that she hoped he would be able to eventually live a "lawful life".
Arthur was charged after allegedly leaving the scene of a burglary on June 29. When police attempted to pull him over, he failed to stop and a pursuit began. He was involved in two accidents before he crashed the vehicle and ran from it.
