After months of speculation over Bruce Jenner's gender transition, the rumors can finally be put to rest.
The 65-year-old's mother, Esther Jenner, confirmed the news to 'Radar Online,' stating that she recently had a long chat with her son which detailed his plans to come out as a woman to the public.
"I just learned about [his transition],” she said. "I have never been more proud of Bruce for who he is, himself as a father, as an Olympian, a wonderful public speaker. He instills enthusiasm in people. He’s gifted."
Though she admittedly was unaware of Bruce's inner struggle, she confirms that she will support Bruce in any choice he makes — especially his alleged long-awaited sit-down interview with Diane Sawyer to discuss his changes, which will reportedly air this May. According to 'Page Six,' filming for the segment will start this week.

Along with his interview, Bruce will also film a docuseries which will chronicle his transition.
"The world will see his full transformation," a source told 'Us.' "It's a docuseries featuring the Jenner family talking about Bruce 'coming out.'"
Bruce's mother hopes he will be able to help others struggling with emotional issues.
“I support him whole-heartedly,” she continued. “I just love him like I always have.”
