After months and months of speculation, Bruce Jenner has confirmed he’s transitioning to a woman.
The Olympian, 65, revealed his life-changing plans during his '20/20' special sit-down interview with Diane Sawyer on Friday night.
"Yes. For all intents and purposes, I am a woman," said Bruce, who was holding back tears as he made the announcement. “My brain is much more female than it is male.”

The father-of-six explained it's been a long time coming (he's struggled with his gender identity since he was a child).
“I’m not stuck in anybody’s body,” he said. “I’m just who I am as a human being.”
Less than two decades after Bruce became a household name for his incredible achievements during the 1976 Olympics (he won a gold medal in the decathlon), Bruce married Kris Jenner — the mother of Kourtney, 36, Kim, 34, Khloé, 30, and Robert Kardashian Jr., 28. They welcomed two daughters together, Kendall, 19, and Kylie, 17.

A whole new generation became familiar with the former athlete when he and his family signed on to appear on 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' in 2007. And the world began watching their every move — hence the popular interest in Bruce's decision.
But he hopes his decision to go public with his journey will inspire others.
“I am going to change the world,” Bruce told the veteran journalist. “My whole life has been getting me ready for this. It’s not just been the past few years as they’ve been treating me as a joke.”

So how do his kids feel about his new journey? They're nothing but supportive (Kim Kardashian previously told 'In Touch Weekly' today that she was even watching the special with her stepfather).
“[My family] are the only ones I’m concerned with,” he said of his family. “I can’t let myself hurt them.”
Prior to marrying Kris (the pair finalized their divorce in March 2015 after nearly 24 years of marriage), Bruce was married to Linda Thompson from 1981 to 1984. They had two sons, Brody, 31, and Brandon, 33. The reality star is also parents to Burt, 36, and Casey, 34, his children from his first marriage to Christie.
