Brittny’s car crash

Brittny Gastineau may be rich and beautiful, but on May 14, the LA socialite and model truly had reason to count her blessings. At 12:45 p.m., Brittny, 25, was exiting a Rite Aid parking lot on Fairfax and Sunset in West Hollywood when a male driver suddenly plowed into her car. Courtenay Semel, Yahoo! heiress, witnessed the accident and immediately dialed 911. “Her face was full of blood and I could tell her nose was broken,” Courtenay, 28, tells In Touch. “I’ve never been so scared in my life.” As an unconscious Brittny was placed onto a stretcher, her fearful friend fainted. “The doctor put me on a gurney across from her!” Courtenay says. After several hours in LA’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, the Gastineau Girl was released and is now home resting with a broken nose, but not a broken spirit. “I’m just happy to be alive,” Brittny says. “I had my angel, my grandma, on my shoulder.”
