This time around, Britney Spears made a big impression at the MTV Video Music Awards - but for all the right reasons. Unlike last year's disastrous performance, Britney opened the show with a simple announcement, "I'm here tonight to celebrate a very important birthday, the 25th anniversary of the VMAs. This is the 2008 Video Music Awards, and it starts right now." But the singer, clad in Versace, made it back onstage three more times after winning three Moonmen for Best Female Video, Best Pop Video and the night's biggest prize, Video of the Year. "I'm in shock," Britney said after picking up her third prize. It's the first time Britney's ever won a VMA. Looks like her comeback is right on track!
