‘Bringing Up Bates’ Star Tori Bates Marries Bobby Smith — See Her Gorgeous Wedding Dress!

The Bates family just got a little bigger — because Tori Bates is now a married woman! The Bringing Up Bates star and her fiancé Bobby Smith tied the knot in an adorable Christmas-themed ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 16 in Calvary Baptist Church in Knoxville, TN — and the couple said their vows in front of 700 of their closest family and friends, including another famous reality TV family, the Duggars!

“Today was more than we could ever hope for. It was the wedding of our dreams,” the couple revealed to People. “We’re so grateful to God for His love and the love and support we received from our family and friends that helped us celebrate this magical day. We couldn’t be happier about sharing the rest of our lives together.”

The couple tied the knot in their family’s church and the nuptials were a family affair. Their vows were officiated by Tori’s father Pastor Gil Bates while Tori’s mother Kelly Jo Bates helped design holiday-themed decor, which included Christmas trees that were sourced from the Bates family’s farm, which were painted white and decorated with string lights. Tori’s sisters played very special roles in her big day — Erin Paine was the matron of honor and her younger sister Carlin Bates was the maid of honor, and during the reception, guests were treated to a baked potato bar and a lemon and blueberry cake baked by Tori’s Aunt Kay.

While much of her wedding was traditional, Tori decided to go with a more contemporary music choice — she walked down the aisle to pop star Christina Perri’s “A Thousand Years.” But she also included her family in the music for the ceremony — her brother, country music singer Lawson Bates, wrote an original song titled “One Plus One” for his sister’s big day and her hubby Bobby also wrote an original song, both of which were performed during the ceremony.

As for Tori’s dress, she opted for a stunning Renee Miller gown — the same bridal designer who created wedding looks for Jinger and Joy-Anna Duggar and their sister-in-law Kendra Caldwell. Tori’s gown was a sheath style dress with long sleeves and a gorgeous train.
