After being rushed to the hospital with a massive brain hemorrhage on April 23, Bret Michaels appears to be out of the woods, according to a statement released by his manager. "He is responding well to tests and treatments,"
Janna Elias said of the 47-year-old former Poison frontman and reality star. Bret was in critical condition after his collapse and his prognosis initially seemed dire, but Elias now believes he could resume his tour by May 26. "Doctors remain hopeful for a full recovery," she said.
Reports have questioned whether the rocker's lifelong battle with diabetes could have contributed to his condition, and Bret had discussed his concerns over the disease’s impact on his overall health with In Touch prior to his hospitalization. "It's such a debilitating disease, but I am gonna fight," he told In Touch.
