Social media can be great because it gives fans almost unrestricted access in to the private lives of their favorite stars. Unfortunately, that also means that it becomes a way for celebrities to air their dirty laundry—just ask Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville and her ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian.

Brandi, 41, took to the micro-blogging site to voice her frustrations with her ex about child support.

The couple had an infamously bad breakup when it was discovered that Eddie was having an extramarital affair with his now-wife, country star LeAnn Rimes while they were working on the Lifetime movie, Northern Lights.

Since their split, Brandi has been public about her feelings towards not only Eddie, but also LeAnn. In her recently released book, Drinking and Dating: P.S. Social Media Is Ruining Romance, the Real Housewife took aim at the singer’s album, Spitfire, which was widely considered a commercial flop.

Similarly, a rep for Eddie insists that any claims that Eddie asked Brandi for child support aren’t grounded in fact—but rather serve as a platform for the mom-of-two to take aim at her former partner.

“There is no truth to the claims that Eddie has requested child support from Brandi now, nor will he ever request child support from his ex-wife,” a rep for the actor said in a statement. “The notion is preposterous. This is yet another ploy for self-promotion.”
