Brad Pitt Has Unsupervised Visit With His Kid Amid Angelina Jolie Custody Battle (EXCLUSIVE)

In Touch has exclusively learned that Brad Pitt scored a win in his bitter custody battle with ex Angelina Jolie, when he was allowed unmonitored overnight visits with his kids.

Because of a temporary agreement reached shortly after Angelina’s dramatic September divorce filing from Brad, their six kids — Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8 — lived exclusively with their mother, who strictly controlled their visitations with Brad.

Now, a source reveals, “He’s become a much more prominent figure in the kids’ lives, and they seem to be doing a lot better now that things have calmed down. He’s recently had two different overnights with two kids without being monitored, and he’s hoping to have them for at least a week at a time by the end of February or early March.”

Eldest sons Maddox and Pax — who were involved in the plane incident that led to their parents’ split — remain reluctant.

“They haven’t spent the night. Those relationships are still very tenuous, and Brad really hasn’t had a breakthrough with the boys yet,” the source adds. “Brad and Angie haven’t seen each other in months.”

Our insider adds that both are working with a private judge to officially resolve the custody battle and receiving therapy separately to deal with “unresolved anger.”

“Their therapists’ goal is to get them to a place of acceptance of the situation so that they will be able to sit in the same room to work through those issues,” the source explains. “Getting to the place where they have a healthy relationship will allow them to co-parent the kids.”
