If there's ever a horrible time to launch your music career, it's when your family member is in a medically induced coma.
But clearly Bobbi Kristina Brown's cousin, Jerod Brown, didn't get the memo.
The "rapper," who also goes by the name YK Kennedy, released a music video on Mar. 15 in honor of his troubled relative. Apparently, filming this three-minute clip and calling out celebrities (like Mariah Carey and Missy Elliott) in the song is Brown's way of "getting the world to pray" for his 22-year-old cousin.
"While she's alive/ I'm praying to the skies/ and for that I don't need your permission," he raps while wearing a "#PrayForBK" t-shirt.
