Roughly three months after Bobbi Kristina Brown died at 22-years-old, her aunt Pat Houston — sister-is-law of the late Whitney Houston — has spoken out about her plans to help her niece before the tragedy.

“When we really found out that Krissy was in trouble, we were really making plans to do something about it, but it just came too late,” Pat told Entertainment Tonight.
She also recalled filing a restraining order against Bobbi’s boyfriend Nick Gordon, who was accused of giving her a deadly drug cocktail before she was found unconscious in a bathtub back in January.
“We [Pat and BK] had a little hiccup with the restraining order,” Pat shared. "Where the world saw that she was angry and mad at me, she was texting me all along. I really tried to show her [that] I'm going to do this to let you know that you don't have to be afraid of anything. 'I got you.'"
