Eight years after Michael Jackson's tragic death, his three children are finally coming out of their shells, though his youngest, Blanket Jackson, still remains a bit of a mystery. While his older siblings, Prince and Paris, have walked red carpets and pursued projects in music, television, and modeling, the 15-year-old has managed to stay out of the spotlight completely.
A family friend told People magazine that Blanket “has had the most problems adjusting after Michael died. He acted very lost and extremely upset.” Although a new name has helped build his confidence.
According to the mag, the teen started going by Bigi in 2015 after he was reportedly bullied over his unique moniker. Although still “shy around people he doesn’t know,” he's said to be doing well in his private school, and was recently spotted leaving karate class in Calabasas, CA. Although guardianship over Blanket has created a tangled web due to ongoing family disputes, he currently lives at his grandmother Katherine Jackson's mansion in the west coast city.
Meanwhile, his sister Paris, 19, has become an "It" girl in Hollywood, though she had her fair share of struggles after Michael's passing. “They always say, ‘Time heals.' But it really doesn’t," she told Rolling Stone in January. "You just get used to it."

She added, "I live life with the mentality of, ‘Ok, I lost the only thing that has ever been important to me.’ So going forward, anything bad that happens can’t be nearly as bad as what happened before. So I can handle it.”
As for Michael's eldest son, Prince, 20, he spoke out about his father's legacy at the Billboard Music Awards. "I think it's an honor to be here because I'm proud of the success my father created on his own and what he worked and built himself up to be," he told E! News.
