His wife, Deborah, found infomercial personality Billy Mays dead inside their Florida home on June 28. The sudden death of the man, perhaps best know for pitching the joys of OxiClean and Kaboom, came just hours after he told TV reporters in Tampa, Fla., that he had been hit on the head when the plane he was traveling in blew a tire as it landed late Saturday night. "We suspect no foul play in the death of Billy Mays," says Tampa Police Lt. Brian Dugan. "We responded to a call from his wife at 7:45 a.m. Sunday morning along with Tampa Fire and Rescue. She said he was unresponsive. We are waiting for an autopsy report. He was under a doctor's care for a recent hip surgery and was due to have his second surgery. We have no reason to suspect his death had anything to do with the airplane's rough landing Saturday, but we can't comment until we have the autopsy report."
