Beyoncé Wins the Video
Vanguard Award, Our
Under the Sun, Etc.
Last night at the Video Music Awards, Beyoncé took home the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award—and proved why she deserves a lifetime achievement award more than anyone else.
She showed us all her strongest abilities—the singing, the dancing, the child-rearing—seriously though, how freakin’ cute was Blue Ivy boppin’ along to her mom’s music?!

The former Destiny’s Child singer basically sang her new album in its entirety, and while some fans may have been disappointed in the lack of classic hits, the performance was essential Bey!
Some of the highlights included a reel of home videos featuring baby Blue and Jay during the 2-year-old wunderkind’s song “Blue” and a sexy lap dance to “Partition.”
However, the best moment came when Jay Z presented the Video Vanguard award to “the greatest living entertainer”—and managed to shut down those pesky divorce rumors!
