Beyoncé's Super Bowl
Halftime Show: Five
Reasons Why We Loved
It comes as no surprise that Beyoncé completely owned the Super Bowl halftime stage last night.
Whether you're a fan or not, the 31-year-old songstress' performance was as close to perfection as perfection can get.
And why's that? Well, here's just five of the many reasons why we think Bey's number puts her in the top halftime performances of all-time:
1) A Medley of Her Greatest Hits
"Crazy In Love"? "Baby Boy"? "Single Ladies"? Bey took us allllll the way back from 2003 to 2008 and we loved every minute of it. We think she actually performed these songs better now than she ever did. She also sang live, proving to her haters that she's more than capable of giving a stellar performance. One thing that could have made it even better? We wouldn't have minded hubby Jay-Z joining her on "Crazy" - just sayin'!

2) A Destiny's Child Reunion
O-M-G it happened! Michelle Williams may have debunked rumors that the trio would hit the stage, but liar, liar, pants on fire! For the first time in 7 years, the girls reunited. They looked and sounded flawless, not to mention, we couldn't get enough of "Bootylicious" and "Independent Women". Plus, how awesome was it seeing them perform "Single Ladies" with B?
3) An All-Female Band
Girl power was definitely the motto on B's stage. From jamming out with her guitarist to her saxophonist, she garnered even more cool points. But something her band all had in common? They were all girls - even every single one of her dancers.
4) She Brought the House Down - Literally
Now, we can't prove she was the cause of the blackout at the Superdome in New Orleans, but we wouldn't be surprised! About 10 minutes after her performance - and only one play into the second half - the power went out in the stadium. It took nearly 30 minutes for all the lights to come back. Something tells us that the Superdome just wasn't "ready for this jelly." The Baltimore Ravens ended up beating the San Francisco 49ers, 34-31.

5) Curvy and Proud
How do you spell "fierce"? B-E-Y-O-N-C-E. Her body looked incredible and the mama of Blue Ivy had no problem showing off her "Bootylicious" fit figure. Did she not pull off that sexy, black leather leotard number? Plus, it showed women everywhere that you don't need to be a size 0 to make it in Hollywood. This furthermore proves why we absolutely love Beyonce.
