Ms. Jones is seeking a shocking total of $10 million from Bey and several other famous defendants, including Mariah Carey, Rihanna and Carly Rae Jepsen, Radar reports. The total sum reflects not only the earnings from the successful songs, but also compensates for the “emotional, psychological and physical distress” she experienced as a result of her songs being stolen.
A hearing for the case is reportedly set to take place on Nov. 18 in New York.
