Beyoncé and Jay Z’s
‘On The Run’ Tour
Ticket Sales Plummet
Beyoncé and Jay Z might not be as big as they think—now that evidence has shown that their upcoming "On the Run" tour has yet to sell out.
According to the leading ticket sales distributor, Ticketmaster, tens of thousands of tickets are still available for their concert—and it happens to be at the top cities in the U.S. that usually sell out quickly.
These include: East Rutherford, NJ on July 12, Atlanta on July 15 and Miami on July 25.
The cause of the low ticket sales? Lack of airplay on the radio as well as the huge family public incident that occurred last month. That’s right—we’re talking about the Jay Z & Solange elevator brawl!
Beyonce and Jay Z perform together at the Grammy Awards on January 26, 2014.
“It’s overload. The public has been left with a sour taste in their mouth because of the elevator fight and all the information that leaked about Jay and B’s relationship afterward,” a source says.
Apart from the other women the hip-hop mogul has been linked to (including rapper Liv), rumors swirled that Rachel Roy was the one who sparked Solange to fiercely attack her brother-in-law.
“The night of the Met it was very obvious that Jay was doing things that were inappropriate, and Solange was looking to find out from Rachel,” a source tells Life & Style.
The “On the Run” Tour kicks-off Wednesday, June 25 at the Sun Life Stadium in Miami, FL.
