Not Banned from Las
Vegas Casino After
Being Caught Card
There’s no acting here—Ben Affleck was allegedly caught card counting in Las Vegas!
On a recent trip to Hard Rock Casino, the 41-year-old actor was reportedly barred from playing shortly after 10 p.m. “due to moving his money with the count” while at a high rollers’ table.
According to a report, Affleck “uses perfect basic (a common term for introductory card counting, but also takes insurance according to the count. Uses black $100 cheques to keep track of the count while playing.”
The report, obtained by Radar Online, also noted, “He has been observed playing blackjack at multiple Las Vegas Strip properties, and is suspected of moving his wagers with the count.”
In a new interview, a hotel spokeswoman said that Ben is not banned from the casino property following reports that he was banned.
“Mr. Affleck, a valued guest of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, is not banned from our property and is welcome back any time,” Abigail Miller tells Las Vegas Review-Journal.
The actor was reportedly in Vegas for a little romantic getaway with Jennifer Garner before filming begins in Detroit for his new role as Batman in the upcoming superhero remake.
