Bella Thorne Admits Her Dating Life Is a Hot Mess and We’re Like, Same

Lady problems. Bella Thorne, who came out as bisexual last year, opened up in a new interview about her dating life and revealed why it’s harder for her connect with women versus men. “It’s so hard,” the 19-year-old Disney Channel alum told StyleCaster for a profile published on Thursday, Oct. 5. “I can’t tell if a girl is trying to be best friends with me or if she wants to get with me or if she just wants social media followers.”

The “Jersey” songstress also noted that women can be “very flirtatious” in platonic relationships, making it even more difficult to decipher whether they’re interested. “I don’t want to make a move, and then you be like, ‘Whoa, girl. Not what I was thinking, I don’t roll that way.’ Then it’s so awkward,” Bella explained. “So I end up usually dating more guys, because with guys, I know if a guy’s hitting me up. They’re not just texting me to be my bestie. I know they want something, of some sort.”

Indeed, the gorgeous redhead has a long list of famous male ex-lovers. Most recently, she was spotted packing on the PDA with Scott Disick over the summer. Prior to that, Bella dated Pamela Anderson’s son Brandon Lee, British heartthrob Gregg Sulkin, Teen Wolf star Tyler Posey, and had a brief fling with singer Charlie Puth.

Though she has yet to experience a serious romance with a woman, Bella is absolutely positive that she is attracted to both sexes. During an October 2016 interview with Maxim, the former child star said that she didn’t have a second thought about announcing her bisexuality. “I didn’t even think about it. A fan on Twitter asked me, and I’m super open about it,” she recalled. “So I just said, ‘Yeah!’”
