Two weeks in the competition and three dances later, Go-Go's lead singer Belinda Carlisle and her partner, Jonathan Roberts, are gone, gone from Dancing With the Stars. After her two dances failed to overly impress the judges, the couple found themselves in the bottom two and forced to dance off to save themselves against fellow contestants Steve Wozniak and Karina Smirnoff. But with the combined lowest judges' scores, due to some visible mistake in their Salsa, the couple lost. "I have to say this new dance-off is absolute hell and torture," Jonathon told In Touch after being eliminated. "But I don't think it's the last time you have seen it in this year's competition."

"It's scary out there"
Are you sad to be leaving?
Belinda: This was totally a new ball game for me. I have never acted before. It's hard, but something that's a challenge and I have always done different things. I mean, my last album was all in French so ... But this is one of the most bizarre things I have ever done in my life and most fun.
Jonathan: Yeah, one week, I am very bummed and mostly disappointed because I think Belinda was just breaking through and coming out of her shell. After watching her in the Go Go's, and when I first met her, she was not what I expected. As I got to know her, she got a little crazier and she just started coming out of her shell in the Salsa. But that's how the show goes, and I have to say this new dance-off is absolute hell and torture.
How do you feel you did?
Belinda: I feel great and feel I did a great job, I am really proud. It's scary out there.
Jonathan: I was thrilled to have her as a partner.
Was it hard being compared to Cloris Leachman?
Belinda: I loved being compared to Cloris Leachman! They were hard on me, but made some valid comments. I did the best I could. I really loved the Cloris Leachman comment because everyone loves Cloris - and it was our first dance!
Is there anything you would have done differently?
Belinda: Well, I would have had perfect foot work, and shaken my booty a lot more, but ...
Jonathan: That would have been next week. I feel bad for Belinda as she felt she let me down. She practiced so hard and knew the routine, but the stress of the moment got to her and she forgot her part. She even apologized to me on-air. I told her she did great - what else can you do?
What did you learn about yourself on the show?
Belinda: I am kind of a perfectionist - yes.
Jonathan: No kind of, you are a perfectionist!
Belinda: I am hard on myself and it's hard to let go. I think ... It's like my yoga teacher told me, just let the mystery unfold, and for me, this whole thing was more about an emotional and spiritual journey than a physical thing. And learning about myself. One of the crosses I bear is being so hard on myself, so I gotta let go.
Jonathan: Let me carry that for you.
Belinda: Yeah, he can carry my cross for a while.
