To say life is hectic for Adam and Danielle Busby is an understatement! The stars of TLC’s hit show, OutDaughtered certainly have their hands full — chasing around toddler quints as well as their six-year-old daughter, Blayke. The parents-of-six also run a business called Rush Cycle and have been working through Adam’s postpartum depression. To top it all off, the Texas natives have twins within their quintuplet brood, and Adam admitted that he sometimes gets them confused — oops!

In a recent blog post titled, “Dad Fail at Telling Twins Apart,” the 35-year-old put together a video and asked the five girls, “Do you know that some people can’t tell y’all apart?” Fans often get Olivia and Ava — the twins — mixed up, so he explained to people how they can tell. He added, “Olivia’s face is a little more narrow than Ava’s and Ava’s face — Ava’s the big one. I’m sorry, Ava, I don’t want to give you a complex!” He continued, “But Ava’s our big girl, and so her cheeks are a little fuller and her head’s a little rounder and she doesn’t like being talked about, huh?” He laughed as she looked away from the camera before giggling herself. He also said that Olivia’s hair is a little curlier and she has birth marks on her head, which he said is the easiest way to tell them apart.

Yet some fans are still confused as to how the two ended up with twins within their set of five. During last night’s new episode, Adam bluntly responded to someone on Twitter, “Because one of the eggs split.” Well, that certainly clears it up!

The twins, as well as their other three sisters, were born on April 8, 2015, which means they’re in the middle their terrible twos! Poor Adam and Danielle! We can’t wait to see what other adventures the girls get into on the show. In the meantime, we’re going to memorize what Adam said about how to tell them apart because TBH, we’re still confused.
