Misty Upham, an actress who starred alongside Julia Roberts and Meryl Streep in the Oscar-nominated flick August: Osage County, has been reported missing by her family.
The 32-year-old Native American was reported missing by her father on Oct. 6 and was last seen leaving her apartment in Auburn, Wash., on Sunday, Oct. 5.
"Our officers responded to her apartment where she lives with her parents on Sunday for a suicidal call," Commander Steve Stocker tells People. "When our officers got there, she had already packed up some belongings and left the apartment, so the officers were not able to contact or find her."
Her father, Charles, told The Hollywood Reporter that his daughter had “recently changed her medication, so she was sort of having erratic behavior.” Police have also responded to her apartment four times for suicide calls over the past year.
"She used to make [suicide] threats sometimes, but she never went through with it,” Charles said. “I think that she is either in a place where she can't get help – maybe she fell down and broke her leg and something, or she got in with the wrong crowd. I don't think she would have taken her own life. I don't want to think she is dead."
Misty has also starred in “Frozen River” and will appear in the upcoming Jennifer Aniston drama “Cake.”
