Not only is Grumpy Cat getting her own movie—but she’ll be voiced by the amazingly deadpan Aubrey Plaza of Parks & Recreation.
The 30-year-old will provide the voice of the viral feline in Lifetime’s original movie Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever, which is written by Tim Hill (who wrote Spongebob Squarepants and Alvin and the Chipmunks) and Jeff Morris.
It tells the story of a perpetually overlooked cat—played by the incomparable Tardar Sauce—who lives at a mall pet store, until she meets a 12-year-old girl named Chrystal, who quickly learns she can communicate with the kitty.
We already cleared our schedule and marked our calendars—but if you’re still in the dark, Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever airs on Lifetime on Nov. 29 at 8 p.m.
