After an “exciting experience” playing Roxy Hart in the Broadway show
Chicago, Ashlee Simpson-Wentz felt “great” upon returning to the stage following a three-year hiatus. Her biggest fans, including friends and family, came out to celebrate her debut at the Inc Lounge at the Times Hotel in NYC on November 30. The actress didn’t let the pressure get to her. “It was wonderful! It made a father cry!” said her dad, Joe Simpson. “She nailed it, and I couldn’t have been prouder of her tonight.” Along with Joe, husband Pete Wentz and big sister Jessica Simpson were also there to support Ashlee. “I couldn’t be prouder,” added Jessica.
