Hold up — was Anna Duggar really on an episode of Married With Children?! Megafans of the former 19 Kids and Counting star clearly have a lot of time on their hands because there's a whole reddit thread dedicated specifically to the topic. According to the user who started it, "Super weird, parallel universe alert! Did you guys know Anna was on an episode of Married With Children back in the 90's? What a bizarre show for her to be on. I want to know how and why and WTF!" Uh, we're wondering the same.
Immediately, people began commenting back on the Mar. 19 discovery, with one pointing out that the stint appears on her IMDb. The mother-of-five — who's maiden name is Keller — is listed as Karin in the popular series and only appeared on one episode. "I can't find any pictures but it's on her official IMDb page so it definitely happened. So freaking weird, right?!" A second, however, was a bit more skeptical. "It's obviously a glitch." Another added, "I think they have tagged/linked the wrong person. I assume it's similar to Wikipedia, not everything is correct."
Still, one fan, in particular, was determined to get to the bottom of the mystery and even found a transcript of the episode. "I found a transcript, looks like she doesn't say anything?" they said.
If this actually true, it would be breaking a major Duggar rule. Er, sort of. Although the former reality star once appeared on television prior to her husband Josh's molestation scandal, watching TV is a huge no-no in the famous family — so we're assuming acting in one would be frowned upon too. In an interview with the Huffington Post in 2011, patriarch Jim Bob said, "I grew up watching TV, but when we got married a doctor friend of ours encouraged us not to have a pet or a TV the first year of marriage. So we did that. For the first year we lived on love," he explained. "And after that someone gave us a TV and for the first three weeks we were both glued to it. Communications dropped off, we weren't talking as much, and we couldn't believe the content on TV we didn't think was appropriate. This is detrimental to our marriage. We prayed about it and felt we had to pull it out of our house, which we did. And I would say that is one of the best things we have done for our family." Honestly, we're not sure what's more surprising — Anna possibly acting or the fact that they're not allowed to have pets.
