Mom-of-six Angelina Jolie continues to shoulder the strain of her divorce and custody battle with Brad Pitt, but she hasn’t hit the brakes on her career. And now, friends fear it’s all too much for the 42-year-old. “Everyone’s afraid that Angie is headed toward a complete physical meltdown,” a source told Life & Style.

Pals have urged her to slow down, but that’s not her style. In fact, Angie’s piling on the work, signing on to Maleficent 2 and The One and Only Ivan. She’s also been campaigning hard to star in and direct a biopic about wildlife conservationist Jane Goodall. “She feels like she needs to be everything to everyone: a full-time mom, human rights activist, UN spokesperson, glamorous actress, director, and producer,” the source shared.

There are already a few red flags that Angie’s overloading herself: She recently revealed that she suffered from hypertension and Bell’s palsy, a temporary facial paralysis, in 2016. “She hasn’t been eating enough or taking care of herself,” the source added. “She’s been taking on too much at once, and everyone worries she’s headed for a serious breakdown.”

Life & Style previously revealed that the Academy Award-winning actress refused to let her kids — Maddox, 16, Pax, 14, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 11, and nine-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne — spend Christmas or New Year’s Eve with their father, 54.

“Angie’s in the driver’s seat when it comes to getting the children for the holidays and she’s taking advantage of that,” a different insider said in December. But she may be softening towards her ex. After Angie filed for divorce in 2016, the pair agreed to a temporary arrangement that gave her primary custody — but now it looks like Brad might not get shortchanged. “They’re in a better place than they have been in a long time and should be settling their divorce and custody agreement by sometime in February,” a third source recently revealed.
