Now this is something we didn’t expect to see from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 star!
Andrew Garfield shaves his hair off (this explains his latest hair ‘do), puts on some makeup, dresses in drag – and does a whole lot more in Arcade Fire’s new music video, “We Exist.”
In the video, we see the 30-year-old British actor walk around in short shorts with his belly hanging out and high heels—something his girlfriend Emma Stone must have taught him.
After Garfield’s character gets beaten up by some tough men, he gets the courage to strike Flashdance moves and eventually end up on stage with Arcade Fire. The end of the video shows live footage from the band’s performance at Coachella last month.

In a press release, lead vocalist Win Butler noted the track is “about a gay kid talking to his dad” about coming out and that the overall message is about self-empowerment and equality.
